Class description

Let’s build some sewing skills during these multi-week sessions! Once the basic class has been mastered, I’m sure you want to level up and make some sweet projects. During each class, we will go over a basic skill, then use that skill to make a project. Projects include: pj pants or shorts, stuffies, simple clothing and bags.

• Elementary School Ages (8-11)

  • Tuesdays – 3:45-5:45pm

    • Session One – Jan 13 thru Feb 17

    • Session Two – Mar 3 thru Apr 7 (skip 3/31)

    • Session Three – Apr 21 thru May 19

• Middle School Ages (12-14)

  • Thursdays – 3:45-5:45pm

    • Session One – Jan 15 thru Feb 19

    • Session Two – Mar 5 thru Apr 9 (skip 4/2)

    • Session Three – Apr 23 thru May 21

What to bring

2 yards of woven quilting cotton for pj pants or 1 yard of woven quilting cotton for pj shorts. Local and online fabric resources are listed on the Blog page and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions! Sewing machines and all other materials will be provided.

Cost

$250 for the 5 week session.

Check, cash, and Venmo accepted and must be paid prior to class time.

Pre-requisite

Kids Sewing 101 or equivalent. Must be familiar with threading and operating a sewing machine.
